Let us hear from a 60-year-old substitute teacher living in Michigan’s Thumb who has lost her forever place because of industrial wind turbines.   The Detroit News, 1/26/2015.

 "This area is wooded — we appreciate the quiet and the wildlife"  

 However, the turbines can often be heard grinding away — day and night — and produce an annoying flicker effect. At night, 43 blinking red lights are seen atop turbines from her kitchen window. She and her husband moved to their home 35 years ago but have seen their enjoyment of the property decrease with the expansion of wind turbines.

 "We thought this would be our forever place ..., but they've been building these turbines closer and closer and closer"
